Hickory is readying for the holidays. Not only are we considering which concert, play, or party we are going to attend but we are stepping back and looking at the simple pleasures of Western NC. The shedding of hardwoods remind us of our favorite sweaters hiding in their cedar chests.

It's already halfway thru September and the phone is still not ringing.  How can it be? Advertising is in place.
